123: Robin Hood and the Curtal Friar

In Percy's Folio Manuscript, the 1663 garland and broadsides in the Pepys and Douce Collections amongst others. William Chappell gives a tune in Popular Music of the Olden Time. Not found in oral tradition. Bronson has a note on Rimbault's application of the tune 'In Summer Time' and includes Child's B text set to this tune.
