Le Garcon Volage

The title appears above two different tunes, the other being Le Nouvelle Fantasie. The reason for this will possibly be that the words of the title refer to a particular move contained in the quadrille that the tune was used for.

London music publisher John Simpson includes the tune (labelled Quadrille) in book one of The Minstrel, a selection of National Airs.
